American Cockroach

The American cockroach is the largest of the common species and usually grows to about 1 1/2 inch or more in length. Its color is reddish brown with a pale brown or yellow border.

Oriental Cockroach

The adults are dark brown and nearly black. The length of the oriental cockroach is about 1 1/4 inch for the female and about 1 inch for the male. The oriental cockroach can be found in high moisture areas such as sewers and damp basements.

German Cockroach

The adults are about 1/2 to 5/8 inches long and have two dark stripes. The adult females can produce 4 to 8 egg capsules in their lifetime. Each capsule contains 30 to 48 eggs.
